Welcome to the third Music History Club Sunday round-up! Looking ahead to next week’s historical music events, we have one of the greatest albums in rock history turning 60, The Jam getting their first UK number one single, and a whole lot of famous birthdays to celebrate (so many in fact, I’ll be doing separate posts this coming week, so look out for those!)

He had been drafted two years earlier, on 24th March 1958, where he was stationed in Fort Hood, Texas, and, six months later, to Friedberg, Germany where he was promoted to Sergeant.
